Kyla commenced working with Pikes & Verekers Lawyers in November 2023 as a part of our local government, environment and planning law team. Kyla has worked on planning appeals in the Land and Environment Court, prosecuting environmental offences in both the Land and Environment Court and Local Court and District Court sentence appeals.

Kyla is completing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) - Bachelor of Arts (Politics & International Relations) at the University of Wollongong.

Through her studies, Kyla has gained valuable experience at the Land and Environment Court while assisting a Commissioner. Kyla has also completed placements at the District Court in Sydney and Orange, NSW where she worked for Judges in both civil and criminal jurisdictions.
