Rebecca is part of our property and commercial law team. She has extensive experience in transactions involving residential and commercial property as well as retail and commercial leasing.

Rebecca has had a long involvement with a variety of Councils and is skilled in a range of local government matters and issues unique to Councils.

Rebecca has a wealth of experience in estates and other elder law matters such as probate and administration of estates, drafting wills, powers of attorney and enduring guardianships and particularly enjoys practicing in this area of law.

Experience

  • Due diligence, sale and purchase of various forms of real property, including residential, commercial and rural property and water access licences.
  • Acting for landlords, including Councils, and tenants in relation to commercial and retail leases.
  • Advising on financing arrangements.
  • Acting in large-scale off-the-plan property projects, including strata and community title.
  • ​Acting for vendors and purchasers in respect of the sale and purchase of businesses. 
  • Advising Councils on complex and niche property related matters including air space leases, matters related to roads, restrictions on use of land, covenants and all aspects of the Local Government Act 1993.
  • Acting for executors in relation to probate matters, advising and acting for beneficiaries in respect of their rights in relation to estate matters.
  • Preparing complex wills, power of attorneys and appointment of enduring guardians. Acting for clients when appointed as attorneys to assist them in understanding their obligations to the principal. 
  • ​Recently appointed as the pro bono solicitor for the Mosman Environmental Foundation Limited.
